UV Quartz Sleeve needs replacing if it breaks in servicing, or if any minerals/organic matter build up to a level that can not be cleaned off.

In a domestic situation, Quartz Sleeves are typically cleaned 1 to 2 times a year depending on your water quality.  This vary’s depending on the management of the pre-filters.

We recommend that a spare quartz sleeve is stored onsite, as water cannot move through the system without one.
