Hydraulic Rams

The Hydraulic Ram is an automatic devise for elevating water. Where ever a flow of water with a gradual fall can be obtained, a portion of the water may be forced to a considerable height. Where large supplies per hour are required, use two or more of small size in preference to a single ram of very large size. Use separate drive pipes to each ram, but discharge from all can play into a single pipe of suitable area. This arrangement reduces friction and guards against total failure of supply if one ram gets out of order.
