Grundfos Unilift Submersible Drainage Pump CC Range
The Grundfos UNILIFT CC is a type of drainage pump that can be put directly into water (it can be submerged). It’s perfect for dealing with stormwater and greywater (that’s water that’s not clean enough to drink, but not as dirty as sewage) around your home. The maximum particle size they can handle is up to 10mm.
Here’s what we think is neat about this pump range:
- It can get rid of almost all the water in a pool, pond, tank, or a flooded out basement or garage. It can pump water down to just 3 mm deep, which is about the thickness of two coins stacked on top of each other after removing the strainer. This drainage pump is super handy when you need to drain a pool or pond for cleaning or maintenance.
- It works even when it’s not completely underwater. Thanks to a special cooling jacket around the motor, the pump can run for a long time even if it’s only partly submerged.
- These drainage pumps are equipped with a float switch, which assists the pump in knowing when it to turn itself on and off if used in a sump or drainage pit where the pump would be totally submersed.
- It’s made of high-quality materials that resist corrosion. Both the outside and inside parts are made of composite materials and stainless steel, so they won’t rust or corrode.
- It’s lightweight. Weighing no more than 7 kg, the UNILIFT CC can be installed permanently or used as a portable pump that you move around as needed.
- It’s easy to install. All you need to do is connect the pump to your pipework, plug it into an electric outlet, and you’re ready to start pumping!
Construction: It’s made of high-quality materials that resist corrosion. Both the outside and inside parts are made of composite materials and stainless steel, so they won’t rust or corrode. They have ceramic IP68 seals with a Class B motor.
