Davies D Series
The DAVIES Deep Well Pressure System is a strongly built beam pumping unit designed for extra heavy lift. It is self starting, self lubricating, self stopping, self operating in all respects. Pressure units are sold with pressure tanks of various sizes, with a pressure switch and gauge.
Automatic Oiling – Oil is stored in the crankcase and carried to main bearings by the eccentric gear and pinion through splash system. All toggle points are bushed with wide microid self-lube porous bronze bearings.
Compensating Head – is designed expressly to balance the load on the drive. Water is lifted to the top of the up stroke and is delivered against pressure on the down stroke.
Spur Gear – Machine cut from solid cast iron. Geared 6 ¼ to 1.
Pinion – Steel, cut integral with the driving shaft.
Discharge Head – Is a separate casing which can be attached to the drop pipe and then bolted to housing of pump simplifying materially the installation of the head.
Glandless Head – Is a compensating piston with two bucket washers, two rubber expanders and an adjusting nut above. By turning this nut the rubbers expand the washers to stop leaks.
Provision on beam to add extension arm for counter-balance weights. Assessed in relation to size of pump cylinder, depth of bore, and delivery head.
