Housing can be mounted outside, however we recommend they are protected from weather.

How often should the filter cartridges be changed?  Well that depends on your water quality.  Our advise is to check the filters every 3 months, or wait until the water pressure drops off in the shower – a typical indicator the cartridges needing changing, or if the taste/smell changes – this is an indication of the Carbon being exhausted.
